Wow, I have never been treated with such horrible service. I grew up with Joe's bike shop, always thought this was the place to go, so I drove the 40 minutes to get there. Either the owner was having a bad day, or it's time for him to get a new life. This man had a negative response for every single thing I asked about. ALL bikes are crap, NOTHING new is worth anything, ALL of the expensive bikes are CRAP, and basically, I knew NOTHING. He practically yelled at me for asking about making a purchase. I had wanted to buy a bike, among other things but, he talked me out of it, telling me that my son was too destructive. This after I told him how hard my 16 year old was on a bike. He asked NO questions, just insulted me continuously with his negative attitude and words! Not only does he attack the customer verbally, he also talks badly about every other bike shop in the area! What a jerk. The actual bike shop is filled with old, discarded junky bikes, no merchandise, and dirt everywhere. This man is not looking to have a business. STAY AWAY, unless you like to be abused!

The guy did an excellent job tuning up my bike. Fast dependable service. If it were not for previous scratches I would have thought I got a new bike. On the other hand the man was a miserable old coot. Negative about everything. Was looking to buy a new bike for my girlfriend and he completely talked me out of purchasing from him. If you can get past that sour disposition of his than it's worth the stop.

I stopped by this shop looking for some parts for an old bike. The shop was closed, but I could see a partial bike on display that had some of the exact parts I wanted. Thinking that the parts might be for sale, I called the shop later. Like other reviewers, the guy I talked to was incredibly rude. I'll never shop there.

Excellent service at a very reasonable price. Very skilled mechanic, who was more knowledgeable than the other nearby bike shops.

This guy is crabby! I had my bike tuned up there and I guess he did an OK job, but even though I was looking at possibly getting a new bike he was surly and unhelpful when I went back to pick up my bike. Doesn't he get it that if you want customers to buy you ought to be nice to them? I needed a new hitch-mounted bike rack and all he had that would fold away from my SUV's hatch were models in a catalog to be ordered and all operated with a pin that had to be pulled in and out when you wanted to swing the rack out of the way. I wanted one that was lever operated like I had seen elsewhere. So I bought the other rack and when I came back with it on my car to pick up my bike, he was actually mad at me for not ordering one of his! Geez!
