Every time I go to this GE I have to bag my own groceries. I really don't even mind so much, but today my 10 year old was helping me bag them and when I had to stop bagging to pay, the cashier just stood there and watched as I paid and my kid bagged and didn't lift a finger to help until the very end she filled one bag. Then she gave me my receipt and began ringing up the next customer and sending items down the conveyer belt while many of my bags were still there. She also gave me my total never asking for my advantage card and seemed annoyed when I presented it to her. Very frustrating.
Went to pick up a few items and couldn't find anything. I have an easier time with the larger Market district on Oxford drive. They didn't have 12 or 16 ounce bottles of ginger ale and if they sell Texas toast, then I have no idea where they hide it. Walked the aisles twice. Fortunately Shop n save is next door. Go there and save yourself time and trouble.
I am always able to find what I am looking for here but they are just a little pricey. They have a wide variety of goods and lots of ethnic foods which makes them very diverse
It's clean, organized & set up right. I'm In and out and everyone is friendly.. except the women behind the lottery counter. Grr
Will never go back to the dirty bird... tried to use the self help line and discovered Giant Eagle does not want your money unless you have a rewards card.... guess what? I dont live here.... shop & save had no problem taking my money...Giant Eagle, you might wanna re-think this policy. After waiting several minutes in line the broad tells me I cant use the self help line without a rewards card...go screw
